Happy New Year, everyone!
I decided to share with you the fireworks we were able to witness from our home in Baku, Azerbaijan. I feel really blessed that we were able to spend a cosy New Year’s Eve, at home, just the four of us. It’s just so relaxing to know that we don’t have to hurry anywhere! Especially with small kids, getting dressed and presentable is a whole challenge all by itself. Let alone all the other things that surround every kind of event! So, I cooked a delicious meal, threw together a couple of starters and some traditional Bulgarian bread, and we were ready to happily greet 2018.
If you’ve ever been in Baku on New Year’s Eve or Novruz, you most probably have witnessed the impressive fireworks that light the sky. It’s a fascinating experience and it will be something I will definitely miss about those holidays when we go back home. That’s why we turned on the camera and decided to capture the beauty of the city in the very first moments of 2018.
The fireworks lasted 10 minutes, which I tried to compress in a video of 3 min. and 47 sec. (not an easy task, let me tell you). 🙂 Watch the video HERE or below this post.
Have a healthy, happy, and prosperous year! <3
