Another treasure for kids in Azerbaijan that I got aware of after spending two years in the country. Its location kept it hidden from me for quite some time… Thanks to my dear Azerbaijani friends, though, we are now able to spend amazing weekends having fun at Aida kids park.
Aida park is located very close to Baku (about 30 km from the city), in the Buzovna area. It has everything a small theme park can wish for and most importantly – it’s budget-friendly. The entrance is just 50 qepik (which is about 25 cents) and the fee for each ride is 1 manat (50 cents). You can buy as many tickets as you wish at the entrance of the park and if you end up not spending them all, you just return them on your way out and they give you your money back. The first time we went there, we bought 10 tickets, but spent just 7 of them, so we returned the unused 3 and received our 3 manats back. That’s how the system works. 🙂
The park is suitable for kids of all ages. The rides are secure and the staff is friendly. Everywhere throughout the park there are cute decorations and the touch of detail never ceased to amaze me. The small ornaments, cute hidden objects and little decorative animals add a pleasant sensation of surprise every time you notice them.
It’s a must-go-to place if you live with kids in Azerbaijan.
